How do we register as a team for the Race?
The easiest way to register is online. Click here to visit the registration page and have your Team Captain form a new Race Team.
How do others join my team?
Once the team captain has registered and formed your Race team, simply have team members click on "Join an Existing Team" when registering.
One of my team members registered as an individual when they meant to join my team. How do they correct this?
In order to change your registration from individual to team member, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the individual's name and the team name they would like to join.
What is the minimum team size?
Teams must have at least ten (10) team members to qualify for team prizes. Teams with 20 or more members qualify for a team table in the Teams area of our Race Expo. Of course, there is NEVER any maximum team size!
Can you guarantee my team members' shirt sizes?
We do our best to order sufficient t-shirts in a variety of sizes (Adult Small, Medium, Large and Extra-Large and Youth Small and Medium). Despite our best efforts, sometimes we do run out of certain sizes and-- some years-- completely out of t-shirts.
Will bibs and t-shirts be mailed out to us before the Race?
No, however you will be able to pick up your t-shirt on Race Day or on one of our packet pickup dates prior to the Race. Packet pickup information will be available in the summer of 2016. If you would like to pick up bibs and t-shirts for your entire team, please email us at email@example.com with your team name and desired pickup date (packet pickup dates will be available Summer 2016).
What is a Team Page?
Your Team page is a Web page that people can visit to find a team member or give a donation that supports the fundraising efforts of the entire team. Although the default Team page contains sample text and photos, your Team Captain can customize this page to make it a creative expression of the Team commitment to Komen and our fight against breast cancer.
How do I register if my company is paying my registration fee?
Your company must contact us to set up your team as a corporate pay for online. A special designation will be given to you to provide to registrations. It can be set up for your company to pay a dollar amount or a percentage of the fee.
